Eurostar’s 30th Anniversary Sale: Save Big on European Train Travel

This month marks the 30th anniversary of Eurostar, the European high-speed rail service known for its seamless city-to-city connections across Europe. To celebrate this milestone, Eurostar is offering a 30% discount on all bookings and travel classes. Since its first trip on November 14, 1994, Eurostar has made travel between major European cities both fast and convenient, benefiting millions of travelers.

Over the last three decades, Eurostar has achieved significant growth:

Passenger numbers have increased sixfold, from 3 million in the 1994/95 season to 18.6 million in 2023.
Since its inception, Eurostar has welcomed over 380 million passengers aboard its trains.
In its dining services, Eurostar has served 61 million meals across its Business Premier, Standard Premier, and Premium categories, including 3 million meals in 2023 alone.
Business Premier passengers have enjoyed over 5 million glasses of Champagne, with 230,000 glasses served in 2023.

Eurostar has also been at the forefront of innovation in the rail industry with several firsts:

It was the pioneer in offering onboard Wi-Fi through Thalys trains in 2007.
Eurostar introduced fast-track check-ins in major stations such as London, Paris, and Brussels.
The company launched exclusive lounges featuring cocktail bars in London and Paris.
It transformed train travel into a gourmet experience, employing a team of chefs and a sommelier.

Looking ahead, Eurostar aims to increase its passenger numbers from 19 million to 30 million by 2030, with plans to expand its fleet and network, setting the stage for even greater achievements in the future.
